ARA’s audiovisual collections have many intended uses. One of them is being an educational tool on the university level (or equivalent). Educational uses are varied and diverse. They may include supplementing a course, being used for specific assignments, and others. Of course, all depends on the type of learning being provided.

• personal or group viewing in order to prepare a course;
• personal viewing outside the classroom to enrich, compliment, and reinforce topics covered in class;
• viewing in or out of class for preparing an intellectual project (personal or group);
• viewing to prepare or edit new video sequences, or complete other publications;
• etc.
