Overview of Valentina Arce and the Théâtre du Shabano Founded in 2003. Despite her Peruvian origins, Valentina Arce discovered texts on the oral tradition in Paris, France. Upon discovering the tales and their mythical meanings, she decided to adapt them to childrens’ theater. Choosing just one was difficult, but she finally decided to adapt a tale from the Andes called "The Young man and the Star."
