Since 2003, graduate students in the social and human sciences have carried out research projects based on critical and concrete work on select corpuses from ARA’s audiovisual collection.

1. Thematic hypermedia sites created by graduate students at the Institut National des Langues et Civilisations Orientales (INaLCO) in Paris (academic years: 2003 – 2004 ; 2004 - 2005 ;2005 - 2006)

2. Bilingual video folders created by graduate students at the Institut National des Langues et Civilisations Orientales (INaLCO) in Paris (2006 - 2007) and at the Universade Aberta in Lisbon, Portugal ( 2006 – 2007)

3. Thematic hypermedia folders dealing with communications, media, and semiotics created by graduate students at the Facoltà di Scienze della Comunicazione - Università di Roma "La Sapienza" (2007 – 2008).
